| PAM POKROY |
Pam established the Specialized Group in 1981, after having worked within the travel industry for 9 years. A strong entrepreneurial inclination led to the formation of the company, after gaps were identified within the recruitment services being offered to the travel, tourism and hospitality industries.
The company started with just two people, and it has grown steadily throughout the years under Pam’s leadership.
Pam has exceptional knowledge of the travel and recruitment industries, and many years of management expertise. Her strong business acumen has guided the company in its growth and diversification.
Pam is considered a leader in the travel recruitment industry and is often called upon by the industry for insight and comment. She is an active committee member of ASATA and has extremely sound relationships with industry leaders. |
| LUCAS IOANNIDES |
Lucas comes from a hospitality and consulting background. He was approached by Pam Pokroy in 1999 to take the hospitality sector of the business to a new level. Lucas provides a strong understanding of the hospitality industry and has been instrumental in building solid relationships within this field.
Lucas’s expertise in hospitality, together with his strong business and leadership skills, have enabled this business unit to grow steadily over the years.
As a co-director in Specialized Hotel Personnel, Lucas has formed a very successful operation.
He has also contributed significantly to the formation and growth of Specialized Corporate Personnel and Specialized Touch.

| MICHELLE DUTTON |
Michelle has 10 years travel industry experience, first as a consultant and then in several management roles. Her deep understanding of the workings and challenges of the travel industry are borne from the experience she gained working at several national travel companies. In September 2007, Michelle made the switch to recruitment when she and her family relocated from Cape Town to Johannesburg.
Michelle spent several years studying in the USA and holds Bachelor degrees in Psychology and English, and a Master degree in Exercise Physiology.
Along with managing the travel recruitment team, Michelle manages Specialized Youth, which are cultural exchange programmes enabling youth to travel and work in the USA over the American summers. |
